That's the proper script

get_deformers selection(0)

function get_deformers               (in_obj)

                dim deformers, myenv, weights, i

                set deformers = CreateObject("XSI.Collection")

                set myenv =
in_obj.activeprimitive.constructionhistory.find("envelopop")

                weights = myenv.Weights.Array

                msgbox( ubound(weights,1) +1 & " vs " & myenv.deformers.count)

end function

Subject: Issue with enveloped models

Hey folks.

It seems, that there is a bug, and I need users confirmation before I submit.
So, I have created few characters in SI2013 and SI2014, that were skinned in
SI2013 (mostly). It seems, that if load these characters, mirror weight doesn't
work with them. Actually, the create symmetry map template is what that doesn't
work. I checked, and the issue is that in scripting the size of weight array is
double that of the number of deformers!

If you have a model enveloped in 2013, and have access to 2014 (SP1 preferable)
then run this script and please let me know, if you have different numbers
displayed!)

get_deformers selection(0)

function get_deformers               (in_obj)

                dim deformers, myenv, weights, i

                set deformers = CreateObject("XSI.Collection")

                set myenv =
in_obj.activeprimitive.constructionhistory.find("envelopop")

                weights = myenv.Weights.Array

                msgbox( ubound(weights,1) & " vs " & myenv.deformers.count)

end function

Cheers
