The best use for them IMO is in studios, scattered here and there in the lounge, kitchen or on desks so more people can enjoy them.
I think that at one point they've lost some notoriety when various resources went online providing in-depth articles and interviews for free. Now they've got an iPad edition that's basically the same thing as the printed one but with more content (before/after, videos and links). At 4,75$ per issue vs. 12,00$ I started enjoying Cinefex again. The app layout is nice, the pictures are sharp and the built in video player works well.
