I am making thin ribbons hanging from a hot air lantern , which are supposed to be flowing gently and poetically in the air. I am using Syflex (not the ICE version) which is fast and reliable. However, the motion is too fast, so I have tried caching the deformed geometry, loading it back as a clip in the AnimationMixer which I then scale to make it slow down. It does slow down, but it seems it does not interpolate cached point positions properly, creating jittery motion.
I guess I am not doing this right, but the docs say it is possible to timewarp cached simulation, so I guess there is a way to do this - are there any of you simulation TD's that can point me in the right direction? Thanks! Morten
