Are all blocks of similar geometry? If not, does the yellow PhysX collision shape of that block look ok? If the geo is corrupt maybe the convex hull generation fails (which raises the question as to why it would work on the original mesh, I know, but...). Your objects are not parented in any way? You did not branch-select them when you first made them active rigid bodies? I'm just wildly guessing, and other than that I'm out of ideas too.
