I'm sure the numbers are accurate. But I'm not sure how to interpret it though though, because Softimage Co was a subsidiary of Microsoft. and Microsoft spent a lottttttt of money for Softimage, more than Softimage by itself if it had been independent. example: spending hugely on siggraph. microsoft was rich and didn't care.
