Thanks Luc-Eric for the advice. I would have installed the apps on the second partition (as an old habit, I normally reserve the c: drive for the OS and the d: for the apps)
i will have to make sure the C: is big enough for the OS and the apps. Updating all the drivers at this moment before installing the apps. Should be good to go soon.
