I tried installing 'PySide-1.1.1qt474.win-amd64-py2.7.exe' from the downloads page you provided (which I believe was the version that you said worked for you) and Softimage still crashes. It seems to be crashing after it creates the Qt parent window (according to the log in script editor). I'll try other versions and see if that doesn't remedy the situation. If all else fails, I suppose I'll make a build from scratch and try that.
