It seems to me if Splice is out & devs like Eric Mootz are starting to build things, there is the potential to transition from ADSK applications gradually rather than cold turkey.
It would be very cool to see all the fantastic people who have been contributing to Softimage over the years turn their attention to building Fabric modules.
