Hi Raffaele,
I totally understand. The reason Luc Eric and I are offering to transfer it to
the community is because then you will control its destiny. I can say that
there is no plan today that calls for shutting down the list in the future, but
plans always change, whether we want them to or not. Who knows where we'll be 5
years from now. It's' not that we want to say things in bad faith. It's just
that stuff happens that can lay even the best laid plans to waste. My post was
only meant to re-iterate Luc-Eric's offer that we would be willing to
transition the forum to the community if that is what you wanted

You'll have to bear with some of us if we're a bit wary.
Is it the same kind of lack of plans of shutting something down as when there
were no plans to shut down Softimage only a few months ago? Just to know
whether we have three weeks or a full year to migrate ;)

would be supportive of migrating it back into the community if you feel that is
a better and safer option. There has always been a very high signal to noise
ratio on this forum and we would not want to see the community lose this. We
are open to proposals.
