I mostly use PSD, since I use Photoshop to create many of my textures. I used to convert to TGA files, in the old days, when Softimage wanted only pic format, and used a plugin , for Photoshop, to write PIC files. (many moons ago)
Today is so much easier being able to use PSD files directly in Softimage. Just don't use CMYK PSD files. :) On Tue, Apr 22, 2014 at 4:52 AM, Martin Yara <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi list, > > Pretty noob question but I was wondering, what is the most used texture > file format you are using for pre-rendered movies? > > I've had been working mostly in game production (real time) and DDS, > Nintendo TGA, normal TGA, are almost the main standard.
