Hey everyone,

We're looking for a rigger to join the team here at Hybride. We're still on
Softimage as our main DCC but will be transitioning to Maya eventually. As
you may or may not know we're building Kraken (
http://fabricengine.com/kraken/) as we're going along as well and are
looking for people who are motivated to take on some development and who
are interested in new technologies like Fabric Engine.


*JOB DESCRIPTION :*
- Build and maintain rigs currently in production using internal tools.
- Assist in the creation of new rigs and rig components.
- Perform rig maintenance and fixes during production.
- Collaborate with the team to continue to develop internal rigging
framework.

*THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS :*
- 2 years of production experience in the film and special effects industry
is required.
- Experience rigging bipeds, quadrupeds, creatures and props.
- Good knowledge of Softimage, Python scripting and object oriented
programming (C++ is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of Maya.
- Experience with smaller scale in-house tools & production system
development.
- Ability work independently and cooperatively within a close-knit team
environment.
- Ability to communicate current status and project task completion.
- Fast learner and ability to quickly adapt established in house systems
and internal workflow.

*ADDITIONAL:*
- Experience with facial rigging systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of ICE and 3D Math.
- Experience with muscle systems, also an asset.
