I dunno, I thought 'falling' leaves 'flew' more than they 'fell', but could elaborate more on your setup? If I got you correctly, your'e emitting little grid instances, with the particles themselves reacting to a wind force, and other things making them flocking around, and your'e looking to also have them syflex deform by the same wind force affecting the particles (?) But when you say instances are you're talking about actual instances? I think that you would have to 'premake' the models that would be on the particles they could all remain as objects, but what if you merged and froze them and then have one particle that transform each island, (I could fetch a recent thread about that) then perhaps applying syflex on the grids model, with it's own syflex wind force (plugged-in one of the 'forces' slots) having the same direction /strength/animation as the regular wind force blowing on the particles that drive each island.
