Hello list. It´s been 3 solid days now working to tag a rig, and I got passed the help files on softimage and few videos (ace mastermind specifically) about tagging a mocap .bvh to a rig using MOTOR. I´m using SI 2015 but I get this strange error:
https://youtu.be/--GBBPgnyL0 It seems biped is still constrained somehow to it´s original root (or the fact that I nested biped into the boy´s model). I created the template for the boy (biped out of the box preset) and then created the tag template. When I hit apply on mocap to rig ppg my character just blows up. Question: Is the video showing a correct workflow? (rescaling sizes for the biped or mesh?), tagging fewer points is suppose to give me this result? Look at the hands of the character, is as if it wasn´t picked up by the template. Please help BVH mocap guys who are on this list, and anyone else who can know what´s going on in this tagging process? Thank you. Cheers.
