Hi, I crossed this url today: https://developers.google.com/tango/apis/unity/unity-prefab-motion-tracking And looks like a pretty nice starting point to develop in unity for FBX tracking data, so the general idea would be to move your android phone around and capture that as FBX file with tracking data output to an .fbx file
I don´t know if anyone has already tried this approach with another kind of software but seems pretty reliable with all the pokemon (aka virtual reality) stuff going around these days. So I guess the hard part would be the output of the .fbx file to be in same space-coordinate than softimage´s. Any suggestions? How much an app like so would cost to develop? Thanks. -- Portfolio 2013 <http://be.net/3dcinetv> Cinema & TV production Video Reel <https://vimeo.com/3dcinetv/reel2012>
