Lol. Some of us just want to watch the world burn :) Maybe we are rendering very different things. I've been using redshift for about 3 years now, and I love it. I just find I get prettier pictures out of cycles, and it's free. The pain of having to export alembics all the time is the only reason I don't use it as my main render.
