  Brings back memories.  A friend of mine and I went down to "The Computer 
Store" (only one in the country) in West LA and each bought an Altair 8800 
for $1200.  We got a whopping 8K (that's K, not meg or GIG) of RAM.  I had 
the bootstrap switch sequence memorized!  I used a reel to reel tape deck 
for program storage.  A major high light was going to the World Altair 
Convention in Albuqerque and having Wayne Green introduce himself to me.
