I FINALLY got around to hooking up and balancing the TX on my TRX 6.2 40/30, and, after about 30 minutes of tuning around on an unusually quiet 40m band, made my first QSO on the new rig! YIPPEE!!! There's nothing like that first QSO on a rig that you built yourself!
Having built many other QRP rigs in the past, I can honestly say that this was one of the more challenging ones to assemble. But,by carefully following the instructions and using the info in the "files" section of this group, the thing worked on the first try... OK, on the second try; on the first try I had a bad jumper going to my sound card, but that doesn't count :-) 73 Steve N8NM 73 Steve N8NM
