Use the Q/I setting in CW Skimmer. It sounds like CW Skimmer is not automatically calibrating correctly. Mine took a few hours on the air and then it worked fine as far as the IQ calibration went. But like you say, it could be due to your 6.1-Lite having something wrong with it.
