Hi Mike, Bend the leads of the added 10k resistors in the R58 and R59 locations so that the resistor bodies lay flat against the circuit board to avoid contact with the circuits on the bottom of the XTALL board. R58 and R59 form a voltage divider from +5 to ground and connecting the base of Q14 to the via just below the 4 and x markings on the circuit board sets the DC level at pin 3 of U5 at about 2.5 volts.

However R58 & R59 are mounted vertically not horizontally as stated on drawing. I also need to change them out to the stated value of 10K rather than the kit value of 1K & 22.1K. I have also added the jumper wire from the base of Q14 and routed it up through the via between x4 & x8 near J1 but have not yet soldered it into the via.
