I've been working with Ten Tec to figure out a way to get a decent signal from the Orion to a SoftRock.
Here's the latest: "The Orion has an output at 9MHz that is broad band and you would only have to plug in a cable. That still requires a Soft Rock at 9MHz to get I and Q.." 1st question.. is there a SoftRock that can do this? 2nd question: I have a SRLite 450 MHz IF. Can I replace components to turn it into a 9MHz IF version? If so, what gets changed? Thanks, Eric W3DQ Washington, DC
