I've taken Joe Hopster's firmware and added several commands to it:

  - X8 (to support the Softrock X8 mode)
  - RM (to read EEPROM memories without changing the Si 570 current
frequency
  - WM (to write memories to the EPROM without changing the Si570
current frequency)

This code is in a folder called "USB Bit Whacker". Within a day (I
hope), I'll add a PC controller program that manages the memories,
displays and sets current & calibration frequencies, etc.

Thanks to Joe for the good starting point for the firmware.
