Tony,

I ordered an IF kit for 10.695(?) MHz IF for the TS-2000.
Did I do wrong?

Is the IF kit different than a normal SoftRock kit?

Could the IF kit be made to work wit the external oscillator (XTal )?

If I need the external oscillator how much additional do I owe you?

Thanks,

Hi John,

The SoftRock Lite could be used on 10m by use of 1/3 sub-harmonic
sampling. This would require a fundamental crystal at a frequency of 4
/ 3 the desired 10m center frequency. A 28.1 MHz center frequency, for
example, would require a fundamental crystal of 37.467 MHz. I have not
been able to find low-cost crystals suitable for 10m 1/3 sub-harmonic
sampling.
