Hi Tony,
That is a dilemma, I would think that there may still an interest in the RX 8.3 XTALL and that you could sell a few more ( I don't know what a few is in this case). I personally am interested in the advanced RXTX 570 version design. As I watch each batch of the softrocks sell-out I keep wondering where the bottom of the barrel is and I guess you do too since you have a big financial investment involved. 73, Ray, N0FY SKCC 3704 FH 997 _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of alexle188 Sent: Wednesday, June 11, 2008 11:04 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [softrock40] Re: Lite+Xtall v8.3 shipments Hi Tony: I'm one of the DX recipients of the May batch of Lite+Xtall v8.3. I have just finished building it with the 30/20/17 bandpass filter. After checking for the correct voltages (+5V, +3.3V) and current (110 ma), I connected the antenna and the PC, and it worked on first trial! The Si570 (I use the LVDS version) is fantastic - the panadaptor spectrum is flat with no humps around the center. So thank you, Tony, and all the other contributors, for designing and making available to us this wonderful kit!
