Hey Tony.... can I get one of the 8.3 kits minus the si570?? (this
of course should you decide to do a second run) I have a few of those

Hi Tony,
I'd certainly be interested in at least two kits if you decide to
offer the V8.3 L+X again. OTOH, if you decide to go on to V8.4, I'd
happily buy a couple of those!
Just wish I could get the software source for the hex file used to
burn the PIC....

Tony, you are exactly correct in that the V8.3 Lite+Xtal, it offers
the best deal for an all-band receiver and you are to be
congratulated for it. I would definitely think another run is in
order and would be well received, expecially with the extended
frequencies.
How is the next version of the RxTx coming ?
Magnificant job. I see the list of reflector members is approaching
5000 ....Wow !!! Your design and low cost kits have been one of the
most interesting, usefull, and made a most significant impact on the
hobby in many years. It's also brought many into the new world (to
them) of kit building.

Good Afternoon All,
The last few v8.3 Lite+Xtall kits were packed today and now all 200
kits have been sold. All v8.3 kit orders through June 10 have been
included in the present run of kits.
I feel the v8.3 Lite+Xtall offers reasonably good receiver performance
at less than $5 per band and is the most cost effective SoftRock
receiver kit on a per band basis of any of the kits.
If there is enough interest I would be willing to go a second round on
the kit. Please let me know what you think about another run of the
kit.
Thanks and 73,
