Senior Quality Assurance Engineer As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer you will: * Write test plans based on marketing requirements documents. * Write test suites from development product requirement documents. * Develop automated tests based on written test cases. * Design and implement automated test cases with QA test tools (Silk, Silk Performer and OpenSta, preferred). * Manage QA testing plans by tracking key QA milestones and deliverables. * Collaborate with the Product Management and Development staff to derive test design and specifications. * Prepare detailed test reports. To be successful in this position you need: * 3+ years experience creating complete system testing suites on a web- based or AS/400 systems. * 3+ years programming experience with 4-test languages. Silk Test preferred. * Strong knowledge of QA process and methodologies. * Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions. * Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify root cause. * Experience testing products with RDBMS (SQL Server), is helpful. * Working knowledge of SQL preferred. * Working knowledge of AS/400, helpful. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Required Experience and Education: * 5+ years Quality Assurance experience. * 4 year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent technical training and professional work experience.
