Manager of Software Quality Assurance As a QA manager, you will be responsible for the leadership of quality assurance and testing group, with primary responsibility for developing/executing testing strategy and processes . A proven track record is required in: Software testing; Implementing quality assurance processes; Test automation; Regression, system and user acceptance testing; Performance load testing; Hands-on team management. Responsibilities: • Set up test environments, including OS, network configuration, proxy servers, etc. • Design, develop and improve test plans, test cases, and other department documentation • Prepare time estimates and schedule for testing activities • Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in the bug database • Develop and Execute test scripts for existing and future projects • Regression test incremental product releases through automated testing tools • Cross-platform testing through all phases of the product development life cycle Requirements: • BS in Computer Science or equivalent • Five to seven years of software testing experience • Two plus years of management/leadership of a testing team • Strong skills with software QA methodologies • Experience with QA automation or scripting - mainly QTP • Proficient with the Web and Internet technologies, • QA experience with browser interfaces and Web servers • Good understanding of HTML and XML technologies • Hands-on experience with both grey box, and black box testing • Experience with MSSQL • Experience with defect tracking software • Excellent ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: • Experience with ASP, .NET, ActiveX • Ability to work in an Agile SDLC (mainly SCRUM) • Experience with planning, coordinating and conducting performance/ benchmarking exercises for product certification on various platforms Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
