Software Testing Engineer Responsibilities: # Translate the client’s business requirements into test cases and articulate discrepancies between actual and expected results encountered when executing test scenarios # Design and implement test processes, strategies, and approaches # Setup and configure a suite of automated testing of tools # Automate test cases using a standard test automation tool # Write test scripts of varying complexity # Prepare data for testing assignments by writing simple SQL queries # Collect relevant metrics and create relevant test execution reports such as defect analysis reports # Perform load/ stress testing # Participate in a mid-level planning exercise # Participate in estimation of testing tasks # Mentor team members on testing best practices and standards Requirements: # Minimum of 3- 5 years experience in testing # Deep knowledge of test automation tools- IBM Functional Tester, IBM Rational Clear Quest, IBM Rational Performance Tester # Exposure to defect tracking / incident management tools # Experience with load / stress testing tools # Must be a U.S. Citizen # Eligible for U.S. Government Clearance # Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
