Software Quality Assurance RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage testing processes for multiple web-based software development projects simultaneously. * Develop, publish, and implement test plans. * Write and maintain test automation. * Develop quality assurance standards. * Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. * Work autonomously as sole QA member of internal web development team. * Interact with users and software developers to gain understanding of business needs and software functionality. * Find and report software bugs and other issues. * Document and report issues found by users. * Work with the Compliance Department to ensure compliance-related requirements are included in testing plans. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills: * At least 3 years relevant job experience. * Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. * Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. * QAI or similar certification desirable. * Knowledge of VB.NET and/or JavaScript code would be a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. * Ability to work well with others is key to this position. * Ability to set and meet time-sensitive goals with minimal supervision. * Time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
