QA Engineer Description Summary • Build test suites by developing and executing test cases/scripts • Work with supervisor to maintain test cases and review test plans • Work with developers to examine and resolve issues • Provide feedback on test strategies • Establish baselines for performance characteristics of the products • Create concise, informative bug reports based on guidelines • Participate in the entire testing lifecycle including: o Automated Testing o Functional Testing o Performance Testing Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities • Strong affinity for documentation • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Detailed oriented with a passion for quality • Good understanding of user interface standards • Working knowledge of browser and desktop based applications • Ability to think through and work independently on diverse problems • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • Some software testing experience • Additional relational database experience is a plus Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
