Quality Assurance Engineer Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or applicable science degree and two to four years experience. Functional/Technical Skills: Advanced level of knowledge in Quality operations with appropriate action plans; knowledge in product manufacture, inspection, testing, and inspection technology; demonstrated skills in process management, technical specifications, regulatory guidelines, contractual requirements, and the application of Quality Standards and Specifications. Competencies: Business Acumen - Understands how business works; is knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the organization. Problem Solving - Demonstrates an advanced level of root-cause analysis; takes initiative to solve complex problems; seeks guidance as needed; works under general supervision.
