Software seeks QA Manager ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Defines and executes a product QA strategy addressing all phases of development * Develop a team of QA Supervisors, QA Leads, QA Analysts and SQA Engineers through coaching, mentorship, and performance assessment * Manage the planning and execution of product testing efforts by working with other internal teams to meet project obligations * Lead efforts to review product specifications and work with others to develop appropriate test strategies, test plans and work estimates * Review product and process risks and adjust the QA strategy to mitigate them * Provide regular status, risk assessment and progress reports for Senior Management * Work with Senior Management to mitigate team conflict and communication problems * Oversee the administration and maintenance of the QA lab, test documentation, code and data assets * Work with other internal teams to improve development processes and procedures * Develop product expertise; stay on top of industry trends and events * Comply with and help enforce company policies and procedures ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent technical education and experience * 7+ years of Software QA (SQA) experience with 3+ years in a leadership role * Excellent analytical problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills * Strong team leadership and motivational skills * Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment * Fluency in SQA methodologies and software development lifecycle processes * Comprehensive experience in both functional and non-functional testing * Extensive experience building and managing automated test frameworks * Strong knowledge of Windows System Administration concepts and tools Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
