Quality Assurance Engineer As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring quality throughout the software development cycle. In this role you will validate the functionality, usability, scalability, performance, compatibility, reliability and security of the product from the customer's perspective. It's an opportunity for you to gain knowledge of risk management as well as participate in development of solutions based on modern financial theories. The role is responsible for the following: - Work closely with the customer / end user, product owners and development team to convert business use cases and requirements into test plans and cases - Write and execute manual and automated test cases - Ensure accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines - Responsible for reporting status and results of System Test Activities - Provide estimates for software work products - Produce relevant document of test data and the test environments - Liaise closely with customers while out on customer site - At least 3-5 years experience in financial services with a good understanding of the software development process - A Bachelors degree required; degree in Engineering, IT, Business or other related discipline - The ability to work in a cross-functional team and influence decisions - Prior experience in Oracle/SQL and testing field devices /instruments.- Strong organizational and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
