Software Quality Engineering Manager * Making decisions in day-to-day operations, proactively raising issues with other managers when necessary * Coaching and mentoring the QA engineers * Helping define the test planning, test design and execution steps within the cycles of the SDLC * Identifying process, technology challenges and deficiencies that need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful adoption * Mentoring testing team members in design, coding techniques and time management * Identifying project risks and be able to provide alternatives for reducing risk * 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance or Engineering Management * Extensive experience with quality engineering techniques and methodology: developing test plans, designing, executing and analyzing test cases, writing and interpreting reports, reporting testing status, creating defect and code coverage metrics, and assessing risk. * 5+ years of QA experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Flash and AJAX * 3+ years of QA experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST) * Solid experience with bug tracking tools like ClearQuest, JIRA etc * Leading a testing effort and defining strategic testing approach * Experience in automated testing, especially experience developing automated tests * Experience in continuous integration and deployment * Working experience with web application testing frameworks like Cactus, Selenium, Mercury (Quality Center, LoadRunner), Segue (Silk, Performer) * BS or MS in Computer Science or related field Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
