Software Quality Engineer you will be working with product development teams throughout the product development life cycle to ensure that effective software quality engineering practices are understood and applied, resulting in projects that achieve their plan of record and products that meet software quality requirements and goals. You will be ensuring that software quality requirements and goals are established and met; ensuring that project work products comply with applicable standards, requirements, and objectives; and driving continuous improvements in software quality. To accomplish this, you will be applying software quality engineering practices and principles during all phases of product development; evaluating software development life cycle work- products, processes, and methodology against standards and requirements; using problem solving methods to identify corrective actions and recommend process improvements; designing and implementing software development and maintenance processes; planning, executing, and monitoring project-specific quality engineering activities; and working with product development teams and functional areas to ensure that effective practices are understood and applied. You should possess a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering within the last 18 months at time of hire.
