Performance Test Engineer Effectively participates in, and sometimes leads, cross-functional testing activities. Effectively influences others to ensure high levels of product quality. Participates in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects. Quickly and effectively assesses the true user impact for user reported problems. Works closely with cross-functional team. Review requirements specifications and understand performance critical components Design, develop and execute automated test cases for performance and scalability Analyze results and report findings to stakeholders Work closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and improvements 6+ years of experience testing large-scale distributed software. 5+ years experience programming JavaScript, Java or similar language Experience with multiple testing frameworks, including Selenium, OpenSTA, MonkeyTalk, and SOASTA Demonstrable experience solving complex performance issues on both Windows and Linux platforms Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming, message queuing, memory management, and virtualization Experience with cloud-based laaS, such as Amazon AWSm CloudStack, and Citrix XenServer Thorough understanding of HTTP, RESTful web services, XML and JSON Good understanding of relational database technologies, including MySQL and 'NoSQL' solutions Experience testing J2EE- based web applications Experience testing C/C++ based applications Experience with source code profiling tools Understanding of Agile Methodology and other software development methodologies Experience with testing API and DLLs Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient in Windows and Linux/Unix environments Strong organizational and problem solving abilities Ability to work independently Experience in creating and maintaining automation tests (integration, regression, performance, etc.) Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
