On Saturday, September 27 at 10 A.M. we will depart Fullers Cafe in Superior, WI for a tour of some of the most beautiful scenery in North America. This year the Fall Colors should be very spectacular because of the tree stress cause by the lack of rain. Every one will be provided with a route sheet showing the location of the planed lunch stop and fuel stops so that they can ride at their own pace, stop for photos or blast through the twisty parts. The ride will head south from Superior on State Route 35 to Highway T in Dairyland, WI where we will turn east to US 53 then south to State Route 77, then east to Hayward, WI for Lunch at Anglers Cafe. The return to Superior will be via State Highway 27 and Highway 2 through Brule, WI Total round trip mileage will be about 150 miles on mostly 2 lane roads, with a short stretch of 4 lane. If anyone is interested, contact me off list so I can get a head count.
