You're on the right track - VDO has it, and probably Racimex and
MotoMeter as well.

(sorry for the German). I have such an oil pressure gauge on my Egli,
and it works fine. The sensor sist on a small T-bar which screws in
where the oil pressure switch sits, and has threads for the sensor and
the pressure switch.

However, I find an oil thermometer much more informative than a
pressure gauge (provided both are mounted in a position where they can
be easily read while driving - I have even seen oil thermometers in
the oil tank cap). The thermo tells you when your engine is still
cold, when it is at it's running temp, and when it is overheating. If
you watch the thermo and rev your engine accordingly, you can do much
more for your engine life than with a pressure gauge.

There are oil thermometers (again from VDO, Racimex...) which connect
to a sensor which replaces the oil cap at the right hand side behind
the cylinder foot of the 750. There is a single cable from the sensor
to the gauge, and ground and +12V to the gauge.
