battery!!!

ok, here is the problem.......

battery fairly new, holds charge when out of bike, charges when bike is
running but, when I park the bike up for the night ignition off and kill
switch off the battery is nearly flat in the morning.
I have also noticed that the RH coil gets very hot even with the ignition on
and the bike not running.
any ideas?
