Hi Am getting my bike ready for some Spring and Summer rides as you northerners languish through cold weather lol.
I am replacing the chain and sprockets and found when undoing the front sprocket bolt and washer that there was a copper washer drifting around between the main washer and the sprocket. The copper washer looks like it slides over the splines. Should this washer be on the engine side of the sprocket or between the main washer and sprocket? The sprocket sits flush with the splines so I can't fathom out how the copper washer sits in place. Is the metal trim on the outside of the rear sprocket purely decorative? Thanks for any advice. Regards Steelo
