AFAIK, Honda cast 'SOHC' and 'DOHC' into the valve covers, they didn't contract
Over-Head into one word.

If the head has two distinct bulges (let the jokes begin!), it's a DOHC. If one bulge,
it's SOHC.

DOHC 750 engines had the oil in the engine, not a separate tank. Is the tank behind
that sidecover? Is it attached to the engine?

I guess it could be a DOHC engine shoehorned into an SOHC frame?

Cheers,

Carlos
