I'm not sure, but I think the 400f may take the same size tire as the 350f, which had a 3.50x18 tire on the reat. I replaced mine with a 110/90x18 tire. Works fine. Slightly larger than that would be 120/90x18, which I have on the 750, so that might be stretching it a bit too far. But who knows?
