hello to the SOHC/4 group... its Jason Lisica #110, M.I.A. since 1996... im rejoining the list, cause im re-rebuilding my 1971 CB500K and i cant wait to get started again...
the last time i was on my SOHC/4 was riding back from a 7,000 mile, 7 week trip across the U.S. to San Francisco from Prospect, PA, where my bike is now, yes, we made it back too... 2-up, all the way there, and all the way back... i guess its been sitting there with all the bumper stickers on it since then... about 8 years.. whew... to be honest, i want to sell the bike after i get it running again, but i have a feeling once i get on it again, im not going to want to get off... the last thing i remember from the trip was getting home after 7 weeks to my dad who was waiting in the driveway with my old dog... the blue smoke pouring out of the tailpipes was hurrendous, my dog, a hound, the smoke was so thick that it was causing my dog to have some sort of sneezing fit, and she was blowing dirt from the driveway all over the place... LOL...
