Try this: edit /etc/hosts and add entry for mailhost vi /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

Yes, solve DNS issue there. Are you sure that your system know what is the IP of mail exchanger of yyyy.com ? Are you sure that your system asks DNS server that knows the answer ? Try nslookup and type yyyy.com for example.
