I did the same thing DAn and got the same results. I saw some multimedia libs for sparc, but thay were not free, that clamed to use sparcs multimedia instructions. With ought using these you will be slow as a P200 non MMX, with these I would guess not much better than a P200 with MMX??
I personaly coulden't find a good use for my Sun Ultra 10. I'm using it as a router and that seams to be the extent of it's usefullness.
