Hi. I've tried both, remote and single user from a console. When i tried
remote, the whole system locked up (over telnet) - I have only been able
to install patch clusters in single user mode to date, otherwise the
system usually trashes itself during the patching, whilst disconnecting
me...

(just my experience with solaris 8.. anyone else?)

regards,
jamie
