Each patch has a readme associated with the patch. Sometimes it is required to install a specific patch in single user mode. Due to this, we always install patch clusters under single user mode.

Sun recommends that cluster patches be installed in single user mode. Some folks here prefer to install the patches remotely and reboot remotely. What policies do other admins take and why? What are the dangers if any of installing remotely? Many thanks, Joan _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users
