Sorry for the off topic request. I figure this is an easy solution for
most of you. I have no experience with sendmail, which is not very
intuitive.
I've got a Solaris 8 box with a default sendmail config. I need this
machine to send script output to a remote mail server. This machine will
never receive mail, nor has any local mail accounts. Unfortunately this
machine for circumstances out of my control is unable to send the mail
to the default mail gateway (which is the MX record) for that domain.
Instead of having sendmail send to the MX record, I need to send all
messages from this machine to a 2nd mail gateway that does not have a MX
record in DNS. Is there an option within the sendmail.cf or other file
that will facilitate this?
Many thanks in advance for any replies.
