2007/7/17, Aaron Wilson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
This should be a no brainer. I'm not using sendmail. -bash-3.00# svcs -a | grep sendmail disabled Jun_29 svc:/network/smtp:sendmail -bash-3.00# But I still get these errors. Jul 16 13:31:01 slosunray1 sendmail[14355]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] (slosunray1) -- using short name It kind of started happening within the last couple of months. I've have eight Solaris 10 machines all doing this. All have sendmail disabled. Started happening after a patching something a couple of months ago. Anyone know how to to get rid of the message when sendmail is already disabled?
