Could anyone comment on the status of the Fuse project discussed here:

It appears to have kicked off in 2006 sometime, but I don't see any
announcements after November of that year. Apparently source *is*
available, but I'm wondering if that can be built in Solaris, or is it
confined to opensolaris users? Additionally, it's unclear as to
whether sshfs is included or not.
Much TIA & Regards to all,

hi Colin,
yes the code is available trough mercurial repository hosted on
opensolaris.org. here is how you can get it:
hg clone ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/hg/fuse/libfuse
hg clone ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/hg/fuse/fusefs
FUSE on solaris is being developed for Solaris 10 and Nevada so there
should be no problem using it on a regular Solaris 10 installation,
however i am not sure whether the FUSE bits will be backported to to
previous Solaris versions.
sshfs is available from http://fuse.sourceforge.net/sshfs.html - it
should compile file without any modifications.
greetings,
Stoyan
