To: "Solaris-Users mailing list" <[email protected]> Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2009, 11:00 AM Dear All Please be informed that I have two text files that have some rows with the same data inside them . I need to compare them and find how many lines with similar data , but this comparison need not to be done in a line-by-line basis . I mean , the row#1 in file1 in not necessarily the same as row#1 in file2 but say row#3 in file1 may be the same as say row#5 in file2 . So please let me know how can I compare these two files and find how many rows with similar data inside them ? Thank you in advance _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users _______________________________________________ Solaris-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/solaris-users
